London Landlord Accreditation Scheme (LLAS) and guaranteed rent provider Elliot Leigh have teamed up to raise standards and improve landlord support across the PRS.

LLAS educates landlords about their legal responsibilities, property standards, and tenant management, and this new partnership signals work to align landlord services with training and accreditation frameworks.

As part of their agreement, Elliot Leigh has been named as the scheme’s preferred provider for guaranteed rent services.

Peter Littlewood, of LLAS, said: “The collaboration offers a route for landlords to access stable rent models through a provider that aligns with LLAS values.”

“This is part of our broader aim to ensure landlords are both compliant and supported.”

Leigh Young, of Elliot Leigh, added that landlords are navigating increasingly complex regulatory pressures, from compliance obligations to uncertainty around upcoming reforms.

Raising standards

“This partnership allows us to work closely with LLAS to offer practical, transparent solutions that help landlords remain both compliant and financially secure, while supporting efforts to raise standards across the sector,” Young said.

Elliot Leigh manages 1,600 properties and works with more than 50 local authorities across London and the southeast to help them provide temporary and long-term accommodation.

As part of the new partnership, the firm will take part in LLAS landlord forums alongside local authorities. These events provide policy updates, landlord education, and knowledge exchange, especially around changes in legislation, housing compliance, and evolving expectations in property management.

Landlords are encouraged to gain LLAS accreditation and attend upcoming LLAS landlord forums and the LLAS BBQ and networking event on July 10.
