The Renters Rights Bill has moved a step closer to Royal Ascent.
The Lords will scrutinize the detail of the bill and agree any proposed amendments on April 22 and April 24.
The debate is expected to be extensive and further dates to allow for the sessions may be added.
These sessions concern only the Bill itself becoming law. Many of the additional regulations will take longer to roll through Parliament.
The National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) is backing two amendments on rent arrears, which it says would give landlords the confidence to know they will still be able to regain possession - in a timely manner - should their tenants stop paying rent.
A total of 50 pages of amendments have been tabled since the Renters’ Rights Bill was last discussed in the Lords on February 4.
Following the Lords' committee stage, there will be another two stages in the Lords before the Bill returns to the Commons for agreement ahead of Royal Ascent.
The Bill is expected to become law in the summer.
