TV star and Landlord Action founder Paul Shamplina (main image, left) has been named Seminar Speaker of the Year, fighting off competition from 38 other candidates.
The award was presented to Shamplina for the fourth time during the National Landlord Investment Show Awards 2024 held at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in central London.
Votes for Shamplina came from among 16,500 landlords, and the award recognises his ‘unwavering commitment to supporting and educating the landlord community, as well as his exceptional influence in the property industry'.
Shamplina won by a significant margin, securing 73% of the vote. He was presented with the award by Ian Collins, talkRADIO host (main image, right).
"I’m incredibly proud to have won ‘Seminar Speaker of the Year’ for 2024, especially as this is my fourth time receiving this award,” he says.
“Being recognised by landlords, the very people I aim to educate and empower, means a lot.
“After 24 years in the property industry, this honour inspires me to continue supporting landlords and letting agents as they navigate the challenges of today’s market."
As any landlord or letting agent who regularly attends industry conferences or shows will know, Shamplina is a fixture at many events, tackling pressing issues such as tenant disputes, regulatory changes, and best practices for landlords, as well as representing Hamilton Fraser, mydeposits, Property Redress Scheme, Client Money Protect, Total Landlord Insurance, LandlordZONE, and Landlord Action.
The National Landlord Investment Show Awards recognise excellence across the property industry, and Shamplina’s continued success highlights his lasting influence and dedication to supporting landlords through education, advocacy, and innovation.
