LandlordZONE Reveals Utilita Energy as Official Energy Partner

Energy boss on a mission to help landlords get ahead of the EPC hot potato

Utilita Energy has stepped up to become LandlordZONE’s official energy partner, and is on a mission to spend the next 12 months putting landlords on the energy efficiency front foot in preparation for whatever the political hot potato brings next.

The 12-month support and education campaign will guide landlords to make the best pro-pocket and pro-planet decision for their budget, while making it all easy to understand and act upon.

In addition to a range of LandlordZONE webinars and podcasts, Utilita Energy will provide landlords with a range of supportive content and guides. To help Utilita roll this out in the right order to meet your needs, please complete this short survey, found here

Bill Bullen, founder and CEO of Utilita Energy explains why he is investing in the year-long education and support programme for landlords:

“Politics too often gets in the way of practical progress, and in this situation, landlords have been left in a horrible position not knowing what to do in terms of energy efficiency measures, and, invariably, they have a much smaller pot of money to make improvements.

“Our 12-month programme of information and advice is designed to help landlords cut through the confusion and make the right decisions for their properties and budgets, all while promoting positive, long-term tenancies.”

Paul Shamplina, Chief Commercial Officer of LandlordZONE’s parent organisation HFIS group, comments on the partnership:

“Energy suppliers and landlords alike have become two of the UK media’s favourite whipping boys and this campaign is a great example of best practice, so let’s all get involved and shout loud and proud about it.  We really enjoyed working with Utilita on the smart meter education campaign last year, and we are excited to see this latest campaign impact our members.

“I can hand-on-heart say that Utilita is a rare breed of energy supplier - a British kitchen table start-up that is - 20-years on - and not to mention all the domestic and global energy challenges - innovating more than any other supplier to give people a better energy experience.

“Utilita is the only energy supplier to open 12 not-for-profit high street energy hubs to help the general public understand energy better and this landlord campaign is an extension of that - it will really help landlords, and is all free-to-access.”
