With major legislation change up ahead NRLA Chief Innovation Officer and founder of Safe2 James Kent looks at the NRLA live programme for the coming 12 months.
It’s full steam ahead for the 2025/26 events programme, with the NRLA holding a host of live events to support our members.
Our programme of free to attend On Tour events takes the NRLA team out into your communities with the new programme of 12 meetings taking in every region of England and Wales.
Thousands of landlords have already attended NRLA On Tour, which the NRLA launched post-lockdown in 2022, and with a raft of legislation change up ahead there is no better time to come along and get the lowdown on how to prepare.
Hear from our expert speakers as well as our Chief Executive, Ben Beadle for the lowdown on the very latest news, and advice on how to make sure you are one step ahead.
They also offer a great opportunity to network and share knowledge with other landlords from your area.
The next event in Liverpool on March 31, comes hot on the heels of our International Women’s Day event in London earlier this month.
More than 100 women from across the property industry met to celebrate the achievements of women working within the sector and examine the unique challenges they face.
The event, which included afternoon tea followed the sell-out success of last year’s celebration, and also featured discussions on how women are leading change and driving innovation, as well as identifying opportunities for growth and development, helping build a strong community of female property professionals.
Listen Up Landlords Live!
In a first for the association, we are also hosting our first ever live podcast recording next month.
The NRLA podcast Listen Up Landlords has just marked its 50th episode, with the live recording – with a studio audience – scheduled to coincide with the association’s fifth birthday celebrations.
Presenters, NRLA CEO Ben Beadle and landlord Richard Blanco will be joined by an expert panel of guests including Carly Jermyn, a property solicitor and CEO of Woodstock Legal Services, who will be discussing the impact of the Renters’ Rights Bill, and seasoned investor and NRLA trainer Henry Davis, who will be sharing his trade secrets when it comes to development and refurbishment projects.
The sold-out recording will be held at Salford University’s Digital Performance Lab at Manchester’s Media City.
Of course, the jewel in the crown of our events programme is the annual NRLA conference.
The award-winning one-day conference has grown year-on-year, with 2025 promising to the best yet, with announcements on this year’s date and venue expected in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on our news centre, and social media channels to find out more.
We are living in challenging times, with the legislation change on the horizon meaning more uncertainty for the sector in the coming years. However, the NRLA is here to help.
Our live events complement the comprehensive NRLA offer, including telephone and online advice, essential new documents and in-depth guidance that will help you navigate the legislative landscape of the future.
We are stronger as a landlord community and we look forward to welcoming you in person over the weeks and months to come.
